FAQ
How many people can I include in the session?
A family session can include immediate family such as children, spouses and pets. Engagement/couples sessions and/or maternity sessions are just for couple. If you would like to include children please consider booking a family session. Please reach out for a quote on extended family sessions.
Do you offer mini sessions?
Yes! Throughout the year I will offer mini sessions. Typically around Christmas time and Mothers day. If you would like to be placed on the pre-release email list for mini sessions, please reach out!
Im nervous my child(ren) won't cooperate or may be too shy. How can we ensure the session goes smoothly?
First and foremost, relax! Children can feel when we are stressed! I take the time to get to know your child(ren) and get them comfortable before we begin the session. I always love capturing authentic smiles in silly ways, so don't worry about telling them to sit still or say "cheese". I aim to make sessions as fun as possible for children of every age. We play fun games, have fun activities, sing songs, and take play breaks as we move to different spots. I always recommend having a meal or snack prior to the session and taking it easy that day so children are not overtired.
Do you offer props, wraps or special posing for your in-home lifestyle newborn sessions?
My approach to newborn photography is to capture the entire family with the main focus being on its newest member. I love capturing you comfortably in the home you've thoughtfully created for your little one, documenting sibling love and natural moments that happen during the session. The main focus being the love and excitement of welcoming your baby to your family. I do not offer any special posing that requires studio equipment such as a beanbag poser or wraps.
Where do you offer sessions?
I offer photography session in beautiful Calgary, surrounding Calgary areas (Chestemere, Okotoks, Cochrane, etc), Banff, Kananaskis and Drumheller.
